I'm off!

I will be taking next week (August 31st – September 6th) off to do Continuing Education. In March I attended the Festival of Homiletics online from Luther Seminary. Because of the pandemic, they offered the full week for free. However, there were so many break out sessions and sermons I didn’t have access to, so they offered the additional week for $75. That saves Peace a lot of money because we normally budget $1,000 for the 2 weeks each year. So, next week, I will be attending the second half of the festival from my home office!

What does that mean for you? Normally we would invite a guest preacher in and continue our regular worship. Because of the pandemic, that’s not easily done. So, I invite you to visit another congregation virtually on Sunday, September 6th!
