Is the Church a business? That’s a good question. The answer is yes and no. There are things we as an organization do like any business. We have to pay bills, work within a budget, meet payroll, and maintain a building. But, we are also the Body of Christ… a community… a family. Yet, we are all part of each of those entities.

One of the biggest days of the year is coming up for us as a church…both as a business and Body of Christ. It is our annual meeting to be held on Sunday, January 29th. We will be passing a budget and electing new council members… business. But we will be reviewing all the amazing things God has done among us and planning for the future ministries… Body of Christ.

Unfortunately, you can’t have one without the other. We need every member of Peace to take part in this very important day. This Sunday, January 22nd we will hold a Budget Question and Answer session right after worship to answer any questions you may have. Then, on Sunday, January 29th right after worship we will meet for the annual meeting.

So, are we a business or the Body of Christ… the answer is yes!
