When a baby is baptized, the parents, sponsors, and the congregation make a vow to raise this child in the church and to teach them all they need to know about God. This happens at home and at church throughout their lives.
When they reach 7th and 8th grade, we consider this the “crossroad” of their spiritual lives. We continue the teaching process in a two-year program, so they are ready to say “yes” to Jesus and affirm the baptism vows for themselves. This group meets for three 6-week sessions right after worship.
